 -So to catch you up to speed i have created new templates for the hilt - includes the outer tube/plating and the inner tube which includes the light saber emitter and battery pack. Also for once during one of my projects i am ahead of schedule. If you looked at my proposal you would know that i had set to have all of my materials by march, 4. I Have already decided and bought the lights and permanent button.

 These are pictures of the leds i bought and switch as you can see i went with a yellow blade color how ever i have yet to buy the blades tho house the lights yet. This is mainly because the place i wish to by from is currently out of the blades i wish to order. The lights and switch are expected in a week or two i have high hopes that this product( the lights and switch) will be in good condition. Can't wait.

project proposal

  This is the first official blog for my 20% time project.

My basic plan of what i wish to accomplish from now to may,7 is to create a full functional light-saber made from materials from local hardware stores. I have all ready collected the materials need for the hilt and i have already created a prototype for the hilt (keep in mind this is a prototype not the final product.)

Now that i have created the prototype i now know how to create and fix the battery compartment to where the back part of the hilt screws of and on to conceal it and hold it in the hilt and prevent it from moving around.
